Coco Gauff, Jack Sock et plus encore s'offrent à l'US Open cartes

On Tuesday the United States of Tennis Association (USTA) announced the wild cards for men’s and women’s Us Open singles draws. Just around two years ago Jack” sock> was a top ten player, now he needed an invitation from the organizers to join the main draw.

Also Bjorn Fratangelo, Marcos Giron, Denis Kudla, Ernesto Escobedo, Zachary Svajda, all coming from Americans, will play through wild cards. The Frenchman Antoine Hoang got a wild card too. An Australian player will receive the last invitation, that will be announced in the next days.

Sebastian Korda, Petr’s son, and Steven Kozlon are among the players who got wild cards to compete in the qualifiying draw. In the women’s draw, Coco Gauff leads the list. The 15-year-old made a stunning breakthrough earlier this year in Wimbledon and she will seek to have another deep run in the fourth calendar Grand Slam of the season.

Francesca Di Lorenzo, Caty McNally, Whitney Osuigwe, Kristie Ahn and Katie Volynets will also be there. The 2011 US Open winner Samantha Stosur and the French player Diane Perry got an invitation as well.
