Meanwhile, former world No. 33 Federico Delbonis and Slovakia’s Jozef Kovalik have also decided to skip this year’s edition of the Winston-Salem Open. Delbonis, 28, won’t be returning to Winston-Salem for the first time since 2016 and making his fourth appearance at the tournament, while 26-year-old Kovalik’s debut at the American event has been delayed.
Delbonis, now ranked at No. 66 in the world, didn’t impress in his previous three appearances as he twice made the second round and once exited the event in the first round.
